Art Vibe is an all-day outdoor community & arts celebration held on the town green in Madison, CT. This unique event will showcase talent from emerging and student artists located across the Northeast.
This is an accessible event for all ages and will occur outside rain or shine. Come out and enjoy the local artisan market, a variety of creative workshops, yard games, tie-dye, and more! There will be LIVE music performances throughout the day by local bands, along with food and beverages!
Do I need to bring a table or tent?
Yes, you do! We are providing artists with a space to sell their work, but will not be providing tables or tents. However, if you are a sponsored artist we can make that happen for you!
What time should I arrive?
Plan to arrive at the Madison Town Green between 10:00am-10:30am. When you arrive, you’ll check in at our welcome table with College Collections team members and head to your artist space. Art Vibe attendees will be arriving at 11:30am, and we want you to have enough time to set up, grab some coffee, and get the day started right!
Will there be food at the event?
Yes! We will have coffee, water, and a lite snack will be provided for artists. There will also be food trucks on the Madison Town Green as a part of Art Vibe, as well as food trucks that have a permit with the Town of Madison nearby. The Town Green is in the heart of Madison Town center, and there are restaurants and cafes within walking distance.
How many people attend Art Vibe?
As an all-day event, we expect a total of 500+ people to attend the day. However, there might be some fluctuations in participants based on weather
What if it rains? Isn’t the event outdoors?
Yep. Art Vibe is an outdoor event, and we’re going to be hosting it rain or shine 🙂 If the forecast looks bad, we’ll be sure to send out an email to remind you to bring rain gear!
What if I didn’t fill in an EIN number on the Art Vibe Artist form?
No Problem! Just provide us with your Social Security so we are in compliance with tax regulations for the state of CT.
